Westpac Auckland Business Awards

It was an evening of sparkling elegance and inspiring business stories at the Best of the Best Awards Gala last night for the Westpac Auckland Business Awards 2017.

PLN Group was awarded Best of the Best in Excellence in Innovation at the exciting event held at the Cordis Hotel. The Innovation Award recognises a business that has enhanced its success through innovation – both in thinking and implementing the idea.

We could not be more proud being recognised in a field of tough competitors including Crimson Education, JUMP and Farm Medix Ltd. We’re thrilled to have our talented team recognised for bringing innovative products to market, boosting New Zealand’s economy.

Massey University was the main sponsor of the Excellence in Innovation Award. Deputy Vice-Chancellor/Pro Vice-Chancellor of Massey’s Business School, Professor Ted Zorn, announced the winner: “These companies took problem solving to another level. For one company in particular, it became their driver for innovation, transformation and market leadership… PLN Group.”

Supreme winners, My Food Bag, won in their category for Excellence in Customer Service Delivery.

Westpac Regional Commercial Manager Jeff Driscoll, congratulated My Food Bag and all the winners and finalists: “As businesses, My Food Bag and our other winners tonight each demonstrate why they are class acts and collectively will go a long way to helping grow the Auckland and New Zealand economy.”
