Kowhai is a collection of workplace furnishings, available exclusively in New Zealand from Crestline - or through PLN in the rest of the world.

Inspired by New Zealand's kowhai flower this playful, biophilic-inspired range blends home comfort and office functionality. Perfect for contemporary workplaces and modern ways of working. With Kowhai, comfort is key. The depth of the upholstery, seating pads and seat backs make the user feel as if they could be on a sofa at home but is still firm and upright enough for effective working and for use with a laptop table for example.

Kowhai’s design reflects the overlapping petals and curves of the kowhai flower. Careful consideration is given to placement of seams so that where required, contrasting fabrics can be used to create the characteristic, angled ‘overlaps’.

Kowhai seating seems to float above the ground on its slim but strong Peony legs and in a market where solidity and straight lines rule, the Kowhai range draws on the natural world and the unofficial national flower of New Zealand, to create something different. It has a youthful light and fun feel with a touch of sophistication.
