University of Auckland Statistics Lab
Scrum
Scrum Couch pods create spaces for impromptu meetings, tutorials, and presentations for university students.
Focus spaces for students
Scrum Couch pods have recently been placed in the Statistics computer laboratory in Building 303 at the University of Auckland.
An area was required in the lab for students wishing to perform focused work.
The Scrum Couch settings offer an informal, semi-enclosed space to consult or reflect in comfort. Multiple settings are placed separate from the busy work stations across the room.
Uses
The Scrum Couches are used for impromptu meetings, tutorials, and presentations with settings offering access to power outlets, screens and work tables.
The high back and sides provide a level of both acoustic and visual privacy and the walls are upholstered for increased sound absorption.
